What the “1000” really changes: 9 Pragmatic Play slots compared with their originals
Short answer — In Pragmatic Play’s “1000” editions, the number refers to a multiplier cap that rises to about 1,000x, and in most cases the RTP stays the same or drops slightly. We compared nine 1000 editions with their originals on the official pages, checked on 19 October 2026. In six games the key multiplier cap rises, from 3x to 500x, up to 1,000x or 1,024x. In two Big Bass games, the money-symbol cap is actually lower in the 1000 edition: up to 1,000x against 2,000x and 5,000x. The RTP is unchanged in three pairs, slightly higher in one and lower in five. The largest drop is Sugar Rush 1000, at 96.00% against 96.50%.
“1000” sounds like a straight upgrade. This guide shows what each edition actually changes, using only the providers’ own pages.

“Not stated” means the official page does not give that figure. We only compare what each page prints.
What rises: the multiplier cap
- Gates of Olympus and Starlight Princess: multiplier symbols go from up to 500x to up to 1,000x. Both RTPs stay at 96.50%.
- Sweet Bonanza: candy-bomb multipliers go up to 1,000x, against 100x in the original. The 1000 page states wins of up to 25,000x, and the RTP edges up from 96.48% to 96.53%.
- Sugar Rush: the doubling spot multiplier now runs to x1,024 instead of 128x. That is three more doublings (256, 512, 1,024). The RTP drops to 96.00%.
- The Dog House Megaways: wild multipliers go from 2x or 3x to up to 1,000x.
- Lucky Tiger: the full-screen multiplier set adds 1,000x to the 5x–25x set, and the stated max win rises from 2,500x to 25,000x.
What falls: Big Bass money symbols
The Big Bass pages read the other way. Big Bass Bonanza lists money symbols “with values of up to 2,000x”, but Big Bass Bonanza 1000 lists them “ranging up to 1,000x”, while stating wins of up to 20,000x. Big Bass Splash lists money symbols up to 5,000x, against up to 1,000x for Big Bass Splash 1000. The pages do not explain the change, so we report them as printed. Both 1000 editions also have a lower RTP: 96.51% and 96.52%, against 96.71% for each original.
RTP in pesos
On ₱10,000 of total bets, Sugar Rush 1000 has an expected long-run cost of ₱400, against ₱350 for Sugar Rush, a difference of ₱50 by our calculation. Big Bass Bonanza 1000 costs ₱349 against ₱329, a difference of ₱20. Sweet Bonanza 1000 is ₱5 cheaper than the original. These gaps are far smaller than the swings a 1,000x multiplier can cause in a single session.
How to choose
- If you want the higher multiplier ceiling, the 1000 edition gives it in six of the nine games. Wisdom of Athena’s original page gives no cap to compare.
- If you prefer the slightly better long-run return, the original is equal or better in eight of nine pairs. Sweet Bonanza is the exception.
- Check the RTP in the game’s information screen. Your platform may run a different setting.
- Set your stake from your budget. A higher cap mostly widens the swings.

Online gaming in the Philippines is for adults only (21+), so check the age rule and the licence of the platform you use. Set a budget and a time limit before you start. A bigger multiplier cap does not make a winning session more likely.
