Sugar Rush 1000 RTP: why the game page and the demo data show different figures
Published — UTC

The English game page for Sugar Rush 1000 lists an RTP of 96.00%. The demo’s game-initialisation data we read on 2026-10-15 reports 96.53% for regular play and two purchase variants at 96.52% and 96.44%. The two sources do not agree, and we cannot tell from the public material which build, jurisdiction or date each one describes. This article shows both figures, converts each into pesos, and does not choose the more favourable one.
What each source says
| Source | Figure | Scope as published |
|---|---|---|
| Pragmatic Play game page (English) | RTP 96.00% | Basic game info section; no mode split |
| Demo game data, regular | 96.53% | Read from game initialisation, regular mode |
| Demo game data, purchase variant 0 | 96.52% | Labelled purchase_0 in the data |
| Demo game data, purchase variant 1 | 96.44% | Labelled purchase_1 in the data |
The page also describes the multiplier ladder and the free-spin trigger in plain terms. We use those descriptions below. The demo fields carry the cap figures that the page does not print.
The gap in pesos
RTP is a long-run return on total amount wagered, so the expected loss per peso wagered is 1 − RTP. Our calculation for ₱10,000 of total wagers:
| Figure used | Expected loss per ₱10,000 | Expected loss on 1,000 spins at ₱20 |
|---|---|---|
| 96.00% (game page) | ₱400 | ₱800 |
| 96.44% (purchase variant 1) | ₱356 | ₱712 |
| 96.52% (purchase variant 0) | ₱348 | ₱696 |
| 96.53% (regular, demo) | ₱347 | ₱694 |

The difference between the page and the demo regular figure is 0.53 percentage points, or ₱53 per ₱10,000 wagered. That is small against the variance of any real session, but it is not zero, and it is the difference between two published numbers rather than a rounding detail.
The 25,000x cap in pesos
The demo data gives a maximum round win of 25,000 times the total bet, and a reported frequency of 1 in 12,800,000 rounds for that result. Our calculation:
| Total bet | Maximum round win |
|---|---|
| ₱20 | ₱500,000 |
| ₱50 | ₱1,250,000 |
| ₱100 | ₱2,500,000 |
If each round is independent and the reported frequency is right, the chance of at least one such round is about 0.0078% in 1,000 rounds, about 0.078% in 10,000 rounds, and about 0.78% in 100,000 rounds. Those are ceilings and odds, not expectations, and the frequency has not been checked against a second official document.
How the multiplier ladder reads
The game page says that when a symbol blasts on a spot that has already been marked, a multiplier is added, starting at ×2 and doubling with each further instance up to ×1,024. The multiplier applies to every winning combination formed on that spot. Counted in order, the ladder is:
| Repeat on the same spot | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1st | ×2 |
| 2nd | ×4 |
| 3rd | ×8 |
| 4th | ×16 |
| 5th | ×32 |
| 6th | ×64 |
| 7th | ×128 |
| 8th | ×256 |
| 9th | ×512 |
| 10th | ×1,024 |
The page adds that three or more Scatters trigger free spins with at least ten free games, that marked spots and their multipliers stay in place until the round ends, and that further Scatters during the bonus award additional free spins. We did not run a demo session, so this article does not report how often a given ladder length appears.
Which figure should a player use?
For calculations, show the figure and its source instead of a single number. A reader comparing games should note whether a given RTP is the regular figure, a purchase figure or a page summary. Where a casino publishes its own game information screen, that screen describes the build the player actually sees, and it should be checked before relying on any single percentage. We could not verify that rule for every operator, so treat it as a practical check, not a guarantee.
What this article does not show
- No demo or live session was run for this article, so no observed results are reported.
- The purchase price is not in the data we read, so we do not calculate the cost of one purchase.
- We do not know which of the published RTP figures will apply to a given account or region.
Play only with money you can afford to lose. The RTP figures are long-run averages, and short sessions can end far from them in either direction.
