Two identical lotto lines: double the chance?
Two identical lines are two records, but they cover only one combination. In the model where only one winning set is drawn, the chance of that set appearing is not doubled because the copy is doubled. Coverage varies by amount of receipts.

Three numbers that must be separate
| Fake bundle | Line records | Distinct combinations |
|---|---|---|
| A: 01-02-03-04-05-06, twice | 2 | 1 |
| B: 01-02-03-04-05-06 and 01-02-03-04-05-07 | 2 | 2 |
| C: Bundle B and another copy of the first set | 3 | 2 |
What happens to the probability?
In the uniform 6/42 model, M = C(42,6) = 5,245,786 possible full sets. Coverage of Bundle A is 1/M and of Bundle B is 2/M, if both are valid and for the same draw. The extra duplicate in C does not make a third distinct set.
There are five six-number game labels on PCSO public archive, but this calculation is only a mathematical illustration. It does not inspect the fairness of the actual draw or availability of ticket selections.

This is also not a payout rule
Having duplicate valid winning entries is a different matter: applicable prize-sharing and claim rules are required. Do not say “double prize” from the copy count. Both also need to check if all entries have been confirmed and for which draw they are registered.
Prioritize the duplicate check in the ledger
Keep the original sequence, then create a sorted comparison key if the format is an unordered game. Record the total paid records and unique sets in separate columns. That way, you don’t trade off cost and coverage when creating a summary.
